Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
If your question is not covered by the below, please email us and we will respond asap.
- Is there a Search function?
Yes, but it only appears when you are logged in. It appears on the top left of your screen.
Setting up a user account does not take long and it will make navigating the site easier so is recommended. We're currently working on the Search function so that it appears for all users, not just those who are registered on the site.
- Is my payment safe? I can't see a padlock.
Yes, during checkout the URL field will start with "https" denoting that it is quite secure. If you prefer, please see the next question for alternative methods of payment.
- I'd prefer not to process a payment through the webshop. Is there an alternative?
Yes, there are three other options:
1 - Place an order for the item(s) quoting the SKU number and style at the shop at 102 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. Payment options include cash, EFTPOS or credit card. The item(s) will be either shipped to you or available for picking up at the shop - allow 2 working days for processing.
2- Place an order for the item(s) quoting the SKU number and style at the shop by phoning 03 9419 8899. Payment can be processed by credit card.
3 - Payment can be processed via direct deposit to Circa's bank account. Please email us for details.
Please note that the fastest way to process a sale is through the webshop and if another option is chosen, there is a risk that the item may be sold online in the meantime.
- Can I pick up my order from Circa’s retail shop in Gertrude Street?
Yes, your order can be picked up rather than posting. Please allow 2 working days for packaging. Trading hours can be found on the Contact Us page. The shipping charge will be refunded for orders that are picked up.
- How soon are orders dispatched?
Orders are packed up and ready for posting or pick up within 2 working days of payment being received, and we post at least twice a week or as often as needed. Although most orders will be processed more quickly than this, if your item is required more urgently, please let us know at the time of order. Please note that we are not responsible for delays within the postal service.
- How long will my order take to arrive?
Australia Post usually delivers between 2 and 5 working days within Australia, although longer distances like Perth can take a bit longer. If you require it more urgently, please let us know and we will process it as soon as we can.
International orders should take between 3 and 15 working days, depending on location.
- I'm unhappy with my item: may I return it?
Yes, your can return your item for any reason. Please see our Returns Policy under Terms & Conditions. Please note that a restocking fee may apply.
- I see the prices are in dollars. What currency is this?
All pricing is in Australian dollars. For converting to other currencies, please see the "Currency Converter" link above. We recommend www.xe.com.
- The prices include GST: what does this mean?
All pricing includes an Australian Goods and Services Tax of 10% which is payable on all orders shipped to, or picked up in Australia. This does not apply for international orders, so the final price will be less than the listed price.
- Can I try on an item from the online shop in your retail shop on Gertrude Street?
Items online are stored in a different location to the retail shop and so are not available for fitting prior to the processing of a sale. Once an order has been processed, however, it can be picked up from the shop (saving shipping costs) and tried on. Please note that the returns policy (including a restocking fee) applies to these garments if a customer changes their mind. See Returns Policy under Terms & Conditions.
- I can't see what I'm looking for on your website.
New stock is always coming in, so please let us know what you're looking for and we will keep an eye out for you. As well as style, colour, fabric and any other details, please remember to include your size and measurements and if there is an expiry date (eg wedding day).
