White leaf lace wedding gown 1930s XS
Style - Cream 1930s short sleeved wedding gown with leaf lace overlay and large collar. Unusually, this gown was made for a left handed wearer, and so the side metal zipper is on the right. A long row of small self-covered buttons fastens up the back, with rouleaux loops. There are two in-built petticoats but more could be added for a fuller skirt.
Era - Late 1930s
Fabric - Cotton lace, in a leaf shape over a layer of cotton tulle and a final rayon petticoat.
Colour - soft white. Was probably originally white, but has softened with time.
Label - none
Size - between a 6 and an 8
