Cream shiny silk satin wedding gown with train 1940s 8-10

Style - Exceptionally beautiful 1940s silk satin wedding dress with train.

Large pointed collar, which can be worn standing up or down; small lace trim at sweetheart-neckline; yoke; darts at bust; 3/4 length leg of mutton sleeves with 9 self-covered buttons with rouleaux loops at each cuff.

Slight point to waistline seam and seams at elbow for shaping.  Long full skirt pleated into waistband with long train at back, falling from a bow at the back centre waist.  Pleats at waist over hips, with built-in hip padding for extra shape (can be removed if desired).  Shoulders are also padded, in the popular style of WW2.
