Ocean print blue and green swimsuit 1960s Size 12-14

Style - Ocean print one piece swimsuit with three large tucks emphasising the waist, adjustable straps with buttons and centre back metal zipper.

Inside you will find structured bra cups. There is a placat to protect the zipper from your skin and a boy-leg style skirt on the front. Low back.

Due to the slightly unusual fit of this swimsuit, I wonder if it's a maternity style?

Era - 1960s

Fabric - nylon

Colour - blue, green and white print. Inside the bra cups and lining are black.

Label - Rose Marie Reid.

Size - 12-14

Measurements

Bust: 36 inches unstretched. Moulded cup could be a C. Hard to measure because of cup but it stretches to at least 40 inches.

Waist: 32 inches

Hips: 38 inches, stretches to 46 inches.

Origin: US

Condition: Very good - a few stitches are loose at the back and some seams show signs of stress. Elastic in legs is strong. Over all the fabric shows some signs of wear so it's not recommended to wear it too tightly as more damage may occur.
