Hawaiian cotton swimsuit 1950s NOS 10

$185

Brand new with original paper ticket, this is one of the best swimsuits in my collection - built in bra, ruched trim to bodice and straps. Entire back features elastic shirring. "Boy" leg and ruching over the stomach.

The straps aren't adjustable, but they do have quite a bit of stretch.

A sensational holiday style that could also be worn as a playsuit, this swimsuit appeared in both the Wintersun vintage swimwear parade 2010 (where it was worn by fashion blogger Candice DeVille) and a swimwear exhibition at the Ballarat Heritage weekend in May 2010 -  Candice and the swimsuit were also featured in the Goldcoast Bulletin newspaper - see images.

Also featured in my book "Style is Eternal" as worn by Frankie Valentine.
