Luxurious wrap around dressing gown of quilted satin.

Large shawl collar is trimmed in a row of ruffles, and a larger row of ruffles trim the hem. Flared skirt, long sleeves with turned back quilted cuffs match the collar. One frilled patch pocket to the front of the skirt.

Tie inside and original sash - fully lined in contrasting pale blue. Size is slightly adjustable thanks to the wrap styling. Boudoir wear at its finest.


Date - 1940s

Fabric -   rayon satin and rayon lining.

 Origin: Australia

Condition: Very good - some marks to lining where the crimson dye has run during washing and a chomp taken out near the label - see photo. They're not seen from the outside, but the lining could be replaced or removed if desired. There are also a few small dark patches on the satin, hard to see due to the lush fabric. See last photo. Priced according to the condition.
